GLOWERIE POLICIES To provide the most intentional, unrushed care for every client, the following policies are in place. I truly appreciate your understanding, respect for my time, and cooperation. If you ever have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out — I’m always happy to clarify. ⸻ ✨ Cancellations I kindly ask that all cancellations or reschedules be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a 75% cancellation fee based on the services booked. • Same-day cancellations will be treated as a No Show and subject to the 100% No Show policy detailed below. ⸻ ✨ Late Arrivals Appointments begin promptly at the scheduled time. • A 10-minute grace period is provided. Please note that arriving late may limit what services can be performed within the remaining time. • Arrivals more than 10 minutes late will incur a $25 late fee and may require your appointment to be modified or rescheduled to ensure the quality of care for all clients. ⸻ ✨ No Shows & Same Day Cancellations No Shows and last minute cancellations significantly impact the ability to care for other clients. • Any appointment missed without notice or same day cancellations will be subject to a 100% fee based on the services booked. • After three (3) No Shows, online booking privileges will be suspended. Future appointments will require direct scheduling approval. ⸻ ✨ New Client Information • All clients are required to complete a new client intake form at the time of online booking to ensure services are appropriate, safe, and customized to your needs. • For new hair removal clients, a minimum of ¼ inch of hair growth is required for body waxing services. This is approximately the length of a grain of rice and typically takes at least two (2) weeks of growth. • For facial clients, please ensure the following prior to your appointment: • No facial hair removal (waxing, threading, sugaring, dermaplaning, or shaving) within 7 days of your treatment. • Discontinue use of retinol, retinoids, and prescription vitamin A products at least 5 days prior to your appointment. • Discontinue chemical exfoliants (AHA, BHA, PHA, exfoliating acids, or resurfacing products) at least 5 days prior to your appointment. • Skin must be free of active cold sores or open lesions at the time of treatment. Appointments should be rescheduled if an outbreak is present. • Please note that certain skin conditions, medications, or recent treatments may contraindicate facial services. These will be reviewed during your intake and discussed prior to treatment to ensure your skin’s safety and the integrity of your results. ⸻ Thank you for honoring these policies and for trusting me with your care.
